About Karen
After graduating from Virginia’s James Madison University with a BBA in Accounting and Spanish, Karen moved to East Vail in January of 1996 to explore the west and experience Colorado skiing. She was instantly hooked on the Vail Valley’s easy lifestyle. Karen takes a great deal of pride in her unique ability to listen to her clients needs and exceed their expectations on their terms. She is a hardworking, honest and smart realtor. Karen uses her background in accounting and finance to help clients understand the financial side of a real estate transaction.
Just as busy at home as in work, Karen lives in Homestead in Edwards with her husband Ben and their two children. She serves on the board of her Homeowners Association, is a certified Yoga instructor, is a member of the Eagle River Presbyterian Church, and enjoys telemark and backcountry skiing, running, hiking, home improvement projects and cooking. A frequent international traveler, Karen has visited spectacular destinations such as Nepal, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, Benin – Africa, Western Europe, Mexico and Costa Rica.
